UHMW polyethylene is an outstanding choice in material when you need a relatively low cost abrasion, impact, and chemical resistant material. UHMW is used in extreme wear situations such as hopper liners, conveyor systems, marine fender pads, and sand and gravel movement. UHMW is not UV stabilized and will have a shortened life if used outdoors. UHMW will outwear all other materials, including metals, nylons, urethanes, and fluoroplastics. Applications include guide rails, wear plates, rollers, conveyor augers, bin and hopper lines, chutes, bearings, bushings, and gears.

  • Extremely high abrasion & impact resistance
  • Outstanding impact strength, even at low temperatures
  • Extremely low coefficient of friction
  • Self-lubricating
  • Great chemical resistance
  • Easy to machine
  • Cut maintenance cost and extends equipment life
  • Corrosion resistance
  • Meets FDA & USDA standards
