Caseway SC-125 is a solvent cement specifically formulated for cementing acrylic to itself and other plastics, including polycarbonate, styrene, and butyrate (CAB). The “soak method” is recommended to create strong joints. This method relies on the softening and intermingling of the two surfaces to be bonded, resulting in a cohesive bond between the materials. Once the assembly is complete, the solvent evaporates or dissipates, leaving a hard and clear joint.

Caseway SC-125 is versatile and ideal for a variety of plastic bonding applications. However, care should be taken when using this solvent in high-humidity conditions, as it may cause “blushing,” or white marks on acrylic surfaces. For high-humidity conditions or bonding extruded acrylic, SC-94 is recommended for optimal results.
