Description
Overview
Vespel SP-3 Natural Round Rod Overview
Vespel SP-3 is a high-performance polymer specifically formulated for use in vacuum and cryogenic conditions. Unlike other grades of Vespel, SP-3 is filled with 15% molybdenum disulfide (MoS₂), making it particularly suitable for low-friction and wear-resistant applications in non-lubricated environments. This grade is ideal for applications that require long-term performance in extreme conditions, where both heat and wear resistance are crucial.
- Excellent heat resistance
- Low surface friction with added MoS₂
- Great chemical resistance
- Highly creep-resistant
- Outstanding dimensional stability at a wide range of temperatures
